©Copy Writing // Watermarking

This the help of these 2 quick simple and easy videos on YouTube I was able to copyright my images so no one will be able to steal some of my work with our my permission.

I decided not to watermark, as I do not have enough time to play around and actually make my own symbol for my website name. I have found a link that I will use later on in the future as then I can sketch up a design properly and scan it in and edit it through Photoshop to make everything look a lot more professional. This means when it goes on the web I will be protected through my images not getting stolen.

Step-by-Step ©opyrighting Images

Open your Jpeg Edited File and press ‘New’ at the top of the page.

When the selection option come up, name your new file ‘Watermark’. This will make it easier to define the file form the others. Make sure that the resolution is on ‘300’. Set the ‘Height’ ‘Width’ and “Resolution’ are all set on ‘Pixels’. Go to the drop down list and click ‘Transparent’ then press OK.

(Use the second video to guy you through the easy steps on producing the copyright symbol) Click on the ‘Text’ button on the side list. Write your company name or whatever copyright name you would like. (make sure you put the ©opyright symbol at the beginning of your text.

Chose whichever font you desire.

After clicking on ‘Define Brush Preset’ this will appear. Name the Brush ‘Watermark’ so it is easy to find in the Brush-sets.

Go to the top of the page and click on ‘Edit’ then click on ‘Define Brush Preset’ this will automatically create an individual brush set for your costumed copyright symbol.

Click on the brush symbol on the side of the page and your costumed copyright brush will appear. Click anywhere where you would like the watermark to be and it will print on your image.

You can now play around to the size and position of where you would like your watermark to be positioned. Also change the opacity if you would like.
